Egg Donor Requirements
PureOvum egg donor requirements in California were set by using strict guidelines set by the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Statistically, fewer than 3 percent of those who apply to become an egg donor for our Southern California physician-owned egg donor program will make it through our screening process and become egg donors.
There is an enormous difference between wanting to do something and being able to do something. PureOvum focuses on what it takes to become an egg donor.
The reality is that not everyone will be accepted into our egg donor program. Are you comfortable with being uncomfortable? Are you ready to commit? Or are you still unsure?
What are the Requirements to Become an Egg Donor?
We understand that a 3 percent acceptance rate of egg donor applicants may seem low to some of you. Please understand that our selection process is strict and extensive because the PureOvum egg donor program makes health and mental well-being a central focus when accepting women who are competent and ready for the egg donation process.
The following requirements should be considered when applying to become a compensated egg donor. The list is ONLY meant to act as a general model.
(What if you don’t meet all of the egg donor requirements below? If you are interested in becoming a PureOvum egg donor, please fill out our online application. This will help our team best determine if you meet the initial requirements to be an egg donor.)
